Jill Scott Explains Defending Bill Cosby Against Rape Allegations

Jill Scott famously caught a lot of heat for defending Bill Cosby and dismissing the testimony of his nearly 30 accusers a few months back. Now that Cosby’s own testimony has substantiated the stories, Jill has taken to Twitter to address why she called the rape accusations an “attack on Bill’s legacy” rather than considering that there might be some truth to them:

So…does that mean she thinks rape is only real if the rapist steps up and admits to it?
