Who needs a house this big when you only have 9 fingers

Jason Pierre-Paul, the New York Giants defensive end who just had his finger amputated due to a fireworks accident over the Fourth of July weekend, is selling another of his Florida homes, this time in Coral Springs.

Pierre-Paul initially put the five-bedroom house up for sale in mid-June for $510,000, but slashed the price to $499,000 on July 1.

On July 4, the 26-year-old was injured in a fireworks accident and was admitted to the hospital. Four days later, he had his right index finger amputated, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who tweeted a photo of Pierre-Paul’s medical chart.

His possibly costly injury aside, Pierre-Paul’s Mediterranean-style home is the second Florida house he’s listed this year.

In April he listed a stylishly renovated home in Boca Raton for $2.1 million, although the listing price has since been dropped to $1.72

The 3,012-square-foot Coral Springs home features an eat-in kitchen, vaulted ceilings, an outside pool, and a master bath with double sinks and a roman tub.
